Project Compact

What more can energy and water companies do to better manage the politics of fairness and the environment?

This major new three-year project will create frameworks for ‘Public Interest Compacts’ for energy and water companies and their stakeholders. These will be designed to build trust and help better manage reputational, political & regulatory risk for the sectors by embedding policy and practice committed to fairness and the environment within the company.
Project Compact will examine:

  • the public service values stakeholders expect companies to adopt;
  • how companies can better develop strategic narratives for themselves and their sectors;
  • how to get an appropriate balance between collaboration and competition; and
  • local, regional and national roles and responsibilities.
