Zoe McLeod, Associatezmc

Zoe is a consumer policy and regulatory expert with a particular focus on energy, water, innovation and consumer vulnerability issues. She is the independent Chair of the South East Water Customer Challenge Group, a member of the Bar Standards Board and a Director of Vulnerability Solutions, a consultancy that aims to deliver positive change for utility customers on low incomes and in vulnerable situations.

She has more than 10 years’ experience as a consumer champion with Citizens Advice, Ofgem, National Energy Action and Friends of the Earth. Previously, she was a member of Ofwat’s Expert Advisory Panel; a Director representing consumer interests for Smart Energy GB; a representative on the Fuel Poverty Advisory Group for England; a member of DECC's Consumer Vulnerability Task Force; a consumer representative on the Smart Metering Ministerial Steering Group and other smart metering expert groups; and a consumer representative on the Smart Metering Installation Code of Practice.

She was also Assistant Cabinet Member for Young People and Youth Services and an elected Councillor for Richmond upon Thames Council.
