SF Programme

Sustainable Futures is developing imaginative visions for social, environmental and economic wellbeing. Bringing together knowledge from young people, artists, business leaders and policy makers to deliver positive change.

The programme focuses on how we can recover from the Covid-19 pandemic in a way that's fair, innovative, and positive for the environment, including in the lead up to the international UN climate change conference COP 26 taking place in Glasgow, in November 2021.

Educational Outreach Programme

Children and young people will inherit a changing world due to the climate crisis and it is our responsibility to support them to develop knowledge, creativity and skills to take climate action.

That’s why we’ve developed a pilot series of schools workshops on sustainability and climate action that combine lessons and tasks on art, science, geography, literacy and social justice.

“The Arts have an incredible role to play in the imagination, anticipation and projection of new futures. We are facing a crisis that demands systemic change. We need scenarios of living and behaving that we simply don’t have yet.”

— Jeremy Till, Head of Central Saint Martins and Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of the Arts
